This is also almost always a Tri-Super jackpot that has reached it's set limit. Some of these jackpots are given away once they reach $50K, $100K & $500K! These are the biggest jackpots in greyhound racing. Everyone always chases these jackpots knowing they will reach a mandatory given away day. On this day 100% of the first leg is paid to all first leg trifecta winners (less the track take out). So, the payouts are always much bigger than normal when the amount bet is divided by 50% and carried over to the second leg. |
